Kingdom Principles

Sep 2022 - Nov 2022

Most of Jesus’ teaching focused on the kingdom of God. So we mustn’t neglect it. The kingdom of God is not an earthly kingdom. In this age, the kingdom of God will not be a government that rules over a nation. The Kingdom of God is a spiritual and eternal kingdom.

In this series on Kingdom Principles, we will explore Jesus' teaching on Luke on how followers of Jesus can seek His Kingdom first. Kingdom principles are practical ways to obey Jesus and bring heaven to earth through our lives.

Passage: Luke 13:18-35
Duration: 47 mins 25 secs
Repentance is one of the most important words in the Bible. Without repentance a person cannot be saved. Without continual repentance, a believer cannot continue to grow spiritually. Repentance is not just saying sorry to God for your sins, it is much deeper. True repentance is the key to beginning a relationship with God and growing in the relationship. Repentance in the Bible means to change one's thinking and to turn around. To repent is first of all to recognize that what you have done is sin. Then you make the choice to turn away from that sin and follow God's ways for your life. True repentance is turning away from idols and choosing to worship God alone with your life.
