Deuteronomy 18:10-11 (NLT) Do not let your people practice fortune-telling or sorcery, or allow them to interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft, or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead.
1 Corinthians 14:1 (NIV) Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts.

Luke 9:12 (NLT) Late in the afternoon the twelve disciples came to him [Jesus] and said, "Send the crowds away to the nearby villages and farms, so they can find food and lodging for the night. There is nothing to eat here in this deserted place."
