Psalm 127:4-5 (NLT) Children born to a young man are like sharp arrows in a warrior's hands. How happy is the man whose quiver is full of them!
1. Praying mothers have real _______________
1 Samuel 1:6 (NLT) But Peninnah made fun of Hannah because the LORD had closed her womb.
1 Samuel 1:8 (NLT) "What's the matter, Hannah?" Elkanah would ask. "Why aren't you eating? Why be so sad just because you have no children? You have me-- isn't that better than having ten sons?"
2. Praying mothers pray with _____________
1 Samuel 1:10 (NLT) Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the LORD.
1 Samuel 1:11 (NLT) And she made this vow: "O LORD Almighty, if you will look down upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a son, then I will give him back to you. He will be yours for his entire lifetime.”
1 Samuel 1:18 (NLT) Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad.
3. Praying mothers receive God’s _______________
1 Samuel 1:19-20 (NLT) When Elkanah slept with Hannah, the LORD remembered her request, and in due time she gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, for she said, "I asked the LORD for him."
4. Praying mothers __________ their children to God
1 Samuel 1:27-28 (NLT) I asked the LORD to give me this child, and he has given me my request. Now I am giving him to the LORD, and he will belong to the LORD his whole life.
Psalm 127:3 (NLT) Children are a gift from the LORD.
5. Praying mothers are filled with _____________
1 Samuel 2:1 (NLT) Then Hannah prayed: "My heart rejoices in the LORD! Oh, how the LORD has blessed me!”
